Sunday July 23 - Junior missionaries

Wow - God is rasiing up a new generation of missionaries right in FAC. Today as the "Have Puppets Will Travel" brought the theme of sharing their relationship with God with others to the Kids in KIDSZONE Sunday. Two kids made a clear commitment to take God's word to others. - And as is that wasn't reason for praise enough - as they talked about their decision it was clear that they were already doing it. They have been telling their friends at school about Jesus and inviting them to come to church to hear more. Some aceepted and some rejected their message - some wanted to follow through but were prevented by parents. We affirmed and encouraged them in their prayers and willingness to obey God.

What a blessing to be witness to young lives on fire for God.
Lord bless those children and multiply their labours for your harvest. Amen

Children and Families

At KIDSZONE our WHAT is Partnering with Parents to see every kid Loving God and Loving People - nothing else matters (based on Luke 10:28).

Our WHY is because Jesus loves each and every Kid.

“Jesus loves the little children, All the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, All are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world.” This refrain from the well-known chorus is a great reminder to us to remember who are important to our Lord. He is only recorded as being angry two times in the Gospels and one is over children.

The people brought children to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus was irate and let them know it: "Don't push these children away. Don't ever get between them and me. These children are at the very center of life in the kingdom. Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in." Then, gathering the children up in his arms, he laid his hands of blessing on them. Mark 10:13-16 (The Message)

He wants them to grow up to be all they were created to be. Since He put children in families, He has assigned this task to us parents. At (KIDSZONE - children's ministries here at First Alliance Church Scarborough ON - www.kzone.ca), empowered and led by the Holy Spirit, we're supporting and partnering with parents in this. We do this in two ways 1) by endeavouring to make the time the kids spend in KIDSZONE each week—the best time of their week—where they’ll grow to love God and people more, 2) by providing parents with resources and helping them to use them (“Taking it Home”) and Family fun times (FAMJAM) that promote “loving God and loving people.”

My Family Rocks

My Family rocks ! I am blessed with an amazing family. My wife - Dawn - is beautiful, sexy, creative, passionate for God, awesome mother - I could go on.... My son, Clayton, 6, is smart, caring and loves learning about God - he's a great soccer player - goalie most of the time - I'm very proud of him. Courtney Clay's young adult sister is beautiful and exploring adult life and following Jesus. She has given us a princess of a grand daughter - Kya. Here we all are:-
