FEAST Kicks off

Families Eating And Sharing Together kicked off on Sunday night with 7 families coming together for fun and a purpose - we shared concerns and prayed for each other as parents, and together in families we made mission statements. -

Why make a mission statement ?
So that as a family you can have an explicit focus and an identity. Having it displayed in a place that you often see it also helps the family to stay focused.

Where do you start ?
Mark Holmen suggests in his book "Faith begins at Home" that a good place to start is with the question " If another person who knows your family was to describe your family what would you want them to say ?"
