How long have you attended FAC? What brought you to FAC? I have been at FAC for about 5 years. My daughter's best friend attends there so it seemed like a good idea to check it out. I really appreciate Bruce and his ministry.

Tell us a little about the ministries you’re involved in Feature on you and how that experience has impacted you. I am doing 3 things for church - I am leading a small group. We have been together for about 3 years and I really appreciate them all. I teach Sunday School. It's really neat too work with these kids because they are so sweet. It's an age group I never had much chance to work with. I am involed in teaching our College and Career group. We are working through the Epistle to the Hebrews and it (and the participants) really challenge me.

Where can you be found on Sunday mornings? 9:15 in Sunday School -11:00 ushering

When did you start following Christ and what have been some of the spiritual turning points in your life? I have been a Christian from the time I was 14. There have been a number of spritual turning points. Getting involved at Intervarsity at university (there were other types of Christians besides my own denomination). Having children was the big turning point in my life. They have been such a joy to see them grow physically, intellecually and spiritually. Doing my M.Div at Tyndale opened my eyes as well to how deep and wide the love of God is.Tell us a little about your background (where you are from, education, your family, etc) I am a Biology Teacher / Science Head (retired). I have been involved in volunteer Christian Service for 40 + years in a whole lot of roles but mostly CE. I was born and raised here in Toronto and am 4 generations Canadian

What is your favorite Scripture passage? Without a doubt - Psalm 139. It tells me that God loves me and is in control of my life.

What are your favorite books? The Hornblower series; Freakanomics spelling ???; The World is Flat; The Tipping Point

What are your favorite movies? Day of the Jackal; Hunt for Red October

What is your favorite fast food? Swiss Chalet

What is something that most people at FAC would not know about you? I like to sail

Tell us a little about your day job. What is your dream job? Supply Teaching and working for my wife :> Dream job would be to run seminars for CE teachers and pastors.

Who is your hero? (besides Jesus or any other member of the Trinity)
Not sure I have one - Maybe Horatio Nelson

What do you do in your free time? Build plastic ship and airplane models. Watch too much TV
