FamJam Pilot

Families gathered in a crowded Multi-purpose room on the first Sunday of the year. Sunday, January 6 saw the launch of the pilot

FamJam - a family orientated presentation kick starting the virtue of the month. Families receive FamilyTimes resource that has cards with stories relating to the virtue, one a week for bedtime, one a month for the meal table, a cd for traveleling time. It looks like this.

In the presentation, we show a few other short movies that reinforce the virtue interspersed with Family games, acting out the related Bible stories.

All in all it was fun presenting and I think everybody else had fun too. I've heard good reports from a couple of families who are using the materials. I'm expecting to hear from more before we decide to do this on a monthly basis.

Nursery Prayers

We're having a Prayer Meeting for our smallest members - May 24th @ 7:30 COme and join us as we lift the little ones before the Lord.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Easter's a round the corner and we're excited about celebrating the new life the Christ's death and resurrection brings. To celebrate it we're having our third annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Easter Saturday April 7 @ 10AM. Bring the whole family and your neighbours to have na egg hunt then an Easter presentation. See you there !

"We Love Families" WInter Family Fest

We're excited about the ideas that are coming together for the Winter Family Fest, - I don't know if Fest is the best description of what might happen, maybe you have a better word :)
During the first week of the New Year we want to gear the evening programs for families. We've recruited the best to help us.
We've got Focus on the Family, Tony Bone and the Toronto City Mission Kids Choir all coming. One night is a free Parents Night Out - When the kids are dropped off anytime after 6pm and picked up anytime before 10pm.
